Feb. 8th, 2025 07:06 pmI'm not sure why I never made the leap over here to Dreamwidth, despite missing the LJ days so intensely - but here I am, late to the party!
You can call me Aster - I'm 36 years old, queer, and a returning college student. When I'm not doing homework or spending time in local queer communities, I'm wrangling my three cats, writing, reading, or playing chill video games. (yk, much like every other girl -- whatever the opposite of "not like other girls" is at our big ages of nearly 40?) I'm also getting back into doll collecting and doll customization, so if you're in the BJD or Monster High or Barbie scene I'd love to find those communities again!
When it comes to fandoms, I'm pretty quiet actually. I'm a diehard Sailor Moon fan, and I've been dabbling off-and-on in the Star Wars and LoTR spaces for twenty years or so at this point? Recently, I've gotten very into the Locked Tomb series. I desperately miss the active corners of the Tamora Pierce fandom and would love to find it again???
Anyway, that's enough of an awkward intro post! If anyone has any tips on how to customize/dig into Dreamwidth, I'm all ears! I'm looking forward to revisiting this style of site and blogging.
